Efficiently staging prepared orders for pickup by shipping carriers is also a key duty. Our commitment to workplace safety is paramount, and all team members must strictly adhere to all safety protocols and correctly utilize required PPE . This position requires consistent physical effort, including the ability to handle lifting of up to 50 pounds, and demands endurance for standing and moving throughout your shift. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order specifications.
- Utilize RF scanners or pick sheets to guide the picking process.
- Double-check product codes and quantities for accuracy.
- Pack items safely and efficiently for shipping.
- Inspect items for damage before packing.
- Organize and stage outgoing shipments.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Wear necessary PPE, such as safety vests and gloves, at all times.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or warehouse work is advantageous.
- Capability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand and move for the duration of the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
