Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments.
- Store inventory in designated areas, ensuring proper rotation and organization.
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently according to customer requirements.
- Operate various warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts (training provided).
- Maintain inventory accuracy through diligent scanning and record-keeping.
- Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, and safe at all times.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Assist in loading outbound shipments.
- Conduct regular safety checks of equipment and the work area.
- Report any discrepancies or issues to the Warehouse Supervisor promptly.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Proven experience as a warehouse worker or in a similar role is advantageous.
- Ability to handle strenuous physical activity, including frequent lifting of up to 60 lbs.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Must wear and maintain required PPE, such as safety vests and closed-toe shoes.
- Commitment to workplace safety and following all guidelines.
