Job Summary:
Are you detail-oriented and passionate about maintaining accurate inventory records? We are looking for a dedicated Inventory Control Specialist to join our team in Las Vegas, Nevada. In this vital role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of inventory accuracy within our distribution center. Your key duties will include conducting regular cycle counts, performing physical inventory audits, investigating and reconciling discrepancies, and implementing procedures to minimize stock errors. You will work closely with receiving, shipping, and operational teams to ensure seamless inventory flow and uphold the integrity of our supply chain. This position demands a methodical approach, strong analytical skills, and a proactive attitude towards problem-solving. Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) is highly desirable. Ensuring the correct placement and tracking of all goods is essential for efficient logistics operations. Safety is a top priority, and adherence to all safety regulations, including the use of appropriate PPE, is mandatory. This role also involves regular lifting and moving of inventory items. Successful candidates will contribute significantly to the overall efficiency and accuracy of our warehouse operations.
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and full physical inventory audits.
  • Investigate, identify, and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in the WMS.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
  • Implement and enforce inventory control procedures.
  • Collaborate with operations teams to ensure stock accuracy.
  • Monitor stock levels and report on potential shortages or overages.
  • Ensure proper storage and organization of inventory.
  • Assist in the training of new staff on inventory procedures.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in inventory control or warehouse management.
  • Proficiency with WMS software and data analysis tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 40 lbs.
  • Knowledge of logistics and supply chain principles.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and proper use of PPE.
