We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Coordinator to manage and oversee all aspects of our warehouse operations in Raleigh, North Carolina. This pivotal role involves supervising warehouse staff, ensuring efficient inventory management, maintaining safety standards, and optimizing the flow of goods within the logistics network. The Warehouse Coordinator will be responsible for scheduling and coordinating shipments, managing warehouse space, and implementing process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs. A key focus will be on ensuring the timely and accurate fulfillment of orders and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. This position requires strong leadership abilities and a comprehensive understanding of warehouse procedures, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping. You will play a critical role in maintaining operational efficiency and contributing to the overall success of our supply chain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and distributing materials.
- Manage inventory levels and conduct regular cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
- Develop and implement efficient warehouse layouts and workflows.
- Oversee the picking, packing, and shipping of orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE and safe Lifting practices.
- Train and mentor warehouse staff on best practices and operational procedures.
- Manage warehouse staff schedules and performance.
- Maintain warehouse equipment and coordinate maintenance as needed.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to create a secure working environment.
- Analyze warehouse data to identify areas for improvement and cost reduction in logistics operations.
Requirements:
Proven experience in warehouse coordination or a similar supervisory role within logistics. Strong understanding of inventory management systems and warehouse operations. Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Must be proficient in using warehouse management software. A commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment is essential. Experience with material handling equipment and forklift operations is beneficial. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a team are required.
