We are hiring a skilled Picker/Packer to join our busy logistics hub in Los Angeles, California. In this essential role, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving items from inventory and preparing them for shipment. Your efficiency and precision are key to meeting order deadlines and ensuring customer satisfaction. This position involves working in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and adherence to safety are paramount.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from designated warehouse locations based on order lists.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Package items securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate packing materials.
- Label packages for shipping with correct addresses and tracking information.
- Operate hand-held scanners and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy through cycle counts and stock organization.
- Keep the picking and packing areas clean and orderly.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily shipping targets.
- Follow all established safety regulations and guidelines, including the correct use of PPE.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse role is highly desirable. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand or walk for the duration of the shift. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work quickly and accurately are essential. Understanding and commitment to workplace safety, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is mandatory. Working Conditions:
This role is situated in a high-volume warehouse environment. It requires considerable physical activity, including frequent lifting, bending, and standing. The use of appropriate PPE is mandatory, and all safety procedures must be strictly followed to ensure a safe working environment.
