Responsibilities include generating shipping documents, coordinating with carriers, verifying order accuracy, and maintaining shipment records. A strong understanding of shipping protocols and an unwavering commitment to safety are essential. All employees are required to follow established safety procedures and utilize the appropriate PPE . The physical nature of the job includes standing, walking, and the capacity for lifting up to 50 pounds. Responsibilities:
- Accurately prepare and process all shipping documentation, including labels and manifests.
- Verify outgoing shipments against sales orders to ensure accuracy.
- Schedule and coordinate with shipping carriers for timely pickups and deliveries.
- Track shipment progress and provide status updates as needed.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date shipping records.
- Ensure all items are properly packaged and labeled for transit.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and wear mandatory PPE .
- Collaborate with other warehouse personnel to ensure efficient workflow.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Demonstrated experience as a Shipping Clerk or in a related warehouse role.
- Proficiency in using shipping software and documentation tools.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Familiarity with logistics and supply chain processes is advantageous.
- Commitment to prioritizing and maintaining a safe workplace.
