We are looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to join our team in Provo, Utah. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring the efficient organization of our warehouse stock. Your duties will include conducting physical counts, reconciling discrepancies, processing inventory movements, and assisting with cycle counts. This position is crucial for effective logistics and supply chain management, ensuring that we have the right stock levels to meet demand. You will work closely with warehouse and management teams to identify and resolve inventory issues. A strong emphasis is placed on safety; all personnel are expected to follow safety guidelines, including the use of appropriate PPE and safe material handling practices. Accuracy and attention to detail are paramount in this role, as errors can significantly impact operations. The ideal candidate is highly organized, meticulous, and possesses strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Previous experience in inventory control, warehousing, or a related logistics field is highly preferred. You should be comfortable working with computer systems for inventory tracking and reporting. Responsibilities:
- Perform regular inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Record and process all inventory movements accurately.
- Maintain organized stockroom and warehouse locations.
- Assist with receiving and put-away processes.
- Generate inventory reports as required.
- Ensure compliance with all company inventory control policies.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety regulations, including PPE usage.
- Practice safe lifting and material handling procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure inventory accuracy.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED; Associate's degree in a relevant field is a plus.
- Previous experience in inventory control or warehouse operations.
- Proficiency with inventory management software and computer systems.
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and PPE requirements.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective communication skills.
