Are you a motivated individual looking for a fast-paced opportunity in our Huntsville, Alabama facility? We are hiring Picker/Packers to be the backbone of our **Logistics** operations. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items from warehouse shelves and preparing them for shipment to our valued customers. Your efficiency and attention to detail are paramount to our success. This position requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to **Safety** standards.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations based on order sheets or scanner prompts.
- Package items securely and efficiently for shipment, ensuring product protection during transit.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment as needed.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure correct items and quantities are picked and packed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all company **Safety** policies and procedures, including the proper use of **PPE**.
- Understand and follow **Logistics** workflows to meet daily shipping targets.
- This role involves frequent **Lifting** of items up to 30 lbs.
- Communicate with supervisors regarding any issues or discrepancies.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order fulfillment environment is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced setting.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and **Logistics**.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
- Willingness to wear **PPE** such as safety vests and gloves.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Experience with **Lifting** and moving boxes is advantageous.
