We are looking for a motivated Distribution Center Associate to join our team in New York City, New York. As a Distribution Center Associate, you will perform a range of essential tasks to ensure the efficient operation of our logistics hub. This includes receiving and processing incoming inventory, picking and packing orders accurately, and preparing them for shipment. Your role is vital to our supply chain, ensuring that our customers receive their orders promptly and correctly. This is a fast-paced role in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and organize incoming inventory with precision.
- Accurately pick products from warehouse locations based on order details.
- Pack items securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Verify order contents against packing slips.
- Stage completed orders for carrier pick-up.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Follow all safety protocols, including proper lifting techniques and the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Operate material handling equipment as required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center setting is preferred.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety procedures and logistics operations.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work effectively in a team.
