Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders, reporting any discrepancies or damages.
- Accurately pick products based on order specifications, ensuring the correct items and quantities are selected.
- Pack items securely and efficiently for shipment, selecting appropriate packaging materials.
- Stage completed orders in designated areas, ready for carrier pickup.
- Operate various warehouse equipment safely, including pallet jacks and potentially forklifts if certified.
- Perform regular inventory checks and participate in cycle counting to maintain data integrity.
- Adhere strictly to all safety guidelines and procedures, including proper Lifting techniques.
- Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse, including workstations and common areas.
- Wear and maintain all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Assist with the organization of stock and ensure proper storage rotation.
- Support warehouse supervisors and colleagues in achieving operational targets.
- Contribute to a safe work environment by identifying and reporting potential hazards.
- Help optimize our logistics processes through efficient workflow management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Prior experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to handle physical demands, including consistent Lifting of goods up to 50 lbs.
- Good organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Capacity to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Understanding of warehouse operations and safety practices.
- Commitment to wearing all necessary PPE.
- Punctuality and a dependable work ethic are essential.
- Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
