We are seeking experienced and safety-conscious Forklift Operators for our bustling distribution center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. As a Forklift Operator, you will play a crucial role in our logistics operations by safely and efficiently moving, stacking, and retrieving materials. This position requires proficiency in operating various types of forklifts and a deep understanding of warehouse safety protocols. Your attention to detail will ensure the integrity of the products and the efficiency of the warehouse flow. We are committed to maintaining a secure work environment, and all operators must adhere to strict Safety regulations, including the mandatory use of personal protective equipment (PPE). This role involves significant physical activity, including the ability to perform regular Lifting of up to 60 lbs. The ideal candidate is reliable, possesses excellent spatial awareness, and works well independently and as part of a team. Certification and proven experience are essential for this role. Key Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach) safely and proficiently.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and other transport vehicles.
- Move and stack inventory within the warehouse.
- Perform daily pre-operational checks on forklift equipment.
- Ensure accurate placement and organization of inventory.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as needed.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Strictly adhere to all Safety policies and procedures.
- Wear and use all required PPE correctly.
- Perform tasks involving significant Lifting up to 60 lbs.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift operator certification and proven experience.
- Minimum of (X) years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment.
- In-depth knowledge of warehouse Safety practices and regulations.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including Lifting up to 60 lbs.
- Familiarity with different types of forklifts and material handling equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination.
- Commitment to Safety and adherence to PPE requirements.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
