As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials within our warehouse facilities. You will perform pre-operation checks, maintain a clean work area, and assist with inventory management. Safety is our highest priority, and adherence to all safety guidelines and the proper use of PPE is mandatory. This role requires strength and dexterity for lifting and maneuvering materials. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move goods.
- Load and unload trucks and containers.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas.
- Perform routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance.
- Maintain an organized and clean warehouse environment.
- Accurately track inventory movements.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and wear required PPE.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift certification and a minimum of 2 years of experience.
- Experience in a logistics or warehouse setting is essential.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 60 lbs).
- Strong knowledge of forklift operation and warehouse safety procedures.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
