We are seeking a dedicated Material Handler to join our bustling warehouse in Denver, Colorado. In this role, you will be essential to the smooth operation of our logistics chain, responsible for moving, organizing, and managing materials throughout the facility. The ideal candidate is a proactive, safety-conscious individual with experience in handling various types of materials and equipment. We prioritize a safe working environment and provide all necessary PPE for your protection. Key responsibilities include operating forklifts and other material handling equipment, loading and unloading trucks, and ensuring materials are stored correctly and safely. You will also play a role in inventory management, including cycle counts and maintaining accurate stock levels. This position requires significant physical activity, including regular lifting and the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced setting. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
- Transport materials to and from designated warehouse areas.
- Organize and stack materials in appropriate locations.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and report any maintenance needs.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts to maintain accuracy.
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures, including proper use of PPE.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
- Must be comfortable with lifting up to 60 lbs regularly.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role.
- Valid forklift certification is a plus.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety regulations and logistics procedures.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent lifting and moving of materials.
- Strong understanding of safe material handling practices and PPE usage.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic.
