We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to join our team at the Milwaukee, Wisconsin distribution center. This role is vital for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our inventory, which is crucial for the smooth functioning of our logistics operations. You will be responsible for tracking inventory levels, conducting cycle counts, reconciling discrepancies, and assisting with stock organization. Your work will directly impact our ability to fulfill orders efficiently and maintain high customer satisfaction. Proficiency with inventory management software and RF scanning technology is preferred. Safety is a core value, and all employees are expected to strictly adhere to all safety procedures and utilize the appropriate PPE at all times. Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the WMS system.
- Receive, verify, and process incoming inventory.
- Organize and maintain stockroom or warehouse locations.
- Generate inventory reports as required.
- Ensure all inventory handling complies with safety regulations and PPE usage.
- Assist with put-away and replenishment tasks.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in inventory control or warehouse operations.
- Familiarity with WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and RF scanners.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to perform lifting (up to 30 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Understanding of logistics and inventory management principles.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
