Our state-of-the-art Distribution Center in San Jose, California is looking for a dedicated Distribution Center Associate. In this vital role, you will contribute to the efficient handling of goods, ensuring timely and accurate processing of inventory. This position is essential to our overall logistics and supply chain success. You will be involved in various aspects of warehouse operations, from receiving and put-away to picking and packing. A strong commitment to safety and operational excellence is required. We strive to create a secure and productive work atmosphere.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, verify, and store incoming merchandise.
- Pick, pack, and stage orders for outbound shipment.
- Operate material handling equipment as needed.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through system updates.
- Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, and safe.
- Assist with shipping and receiving documentation.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Participate in regular inventory counts and audits.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Knowledge of logistics and supply chain best practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
- Mandatory use of appropriate PPE.
- Team player with excellent communication skills.
