Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and storage areas.
- Transport materials throughout the warehouse.
- Receive and store incoming materials, verifying quantities.
- Organize inventory and ensure proper storage conditions.
- Prepare materials for shipment or further processing.
- Conduct regular equipment inspections and perform basic maintenance.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and wear required PPE .
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock checks.
- Support the overall logistics function of the distribution center.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift operator certification or demonstrated experience.
- Proven ability for significant lifting (up to 75 lbs).
- Experience with warehouse management systems and inventory control.
- Knowledge of proper material handling techniques and logistics best practices.
- Strong understanding of workplace safety protocols.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to operate machinery safely and effectively.
- Willingness to wear required PPE including safety shoes and vests.
