Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, etc.) safely and efficiently to move materials.
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Transport inventory to and from designated storage areas.
- Stack and arrange materials properly to maximize space and ensure stability.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklift equipment and report any issues.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Wear required PPE at all times while operating equipment and in the warehouse.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as directed.
- Support the overall efficiency of warehouse logistics.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification required.
- Previous experience as a forklift operator in a warehouse environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and best practices.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
- Familiarity with logistics operations is beneficial.
