Our Los Angeles, California facility is looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead our warehouse team. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of warehouse operations, including staffing, training, inventory management, safety, and operational efficiency. You will ensure that workflows are optimized, performance targets are met, and that all activities comply with company policies and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a deep understanding of warehouse logistics. Your role is critical in fostering a productive and safe work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise, train, and mentor warehouse staff to ensure optimal performance.
- Manage daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, order picking, packing, and shipping.
- Implement and enforce strict safety protocols, ensuring all team members use appropriate PPE.
- Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular audits to maintain accuracy.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflow for maximum efficiency and productivity.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and industry regulations.
- Resolve operational issues and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Manage equipment maintenance and ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless logistics and supply chain operations.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback to team members.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a warehouse supervisory or management role.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to enforce safety procedures and manage risks.
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is essential.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field is a plus.
- Proficiency in problem-solving and decision-making.
- Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety, including the consistent use of PPE.
