Role Description

This is a full-time Position. As a Project Coordinator, you will report to the Project Manager and support the team with all the roles and responsibilities to manage multiple projects (depending on size) in accordance with the contract documents, throughout the project life cycle, from the planning stage through to project close-out and hand-over. You will be assisting with scheduling, a major part of the daily responsibilities for this position. Additionally, you will be responsible for quality, correspondence, contract administrations, timeliness, budget, cost control and take an active role in the safety of your construction projects.

Qualifications

• 2 to 5 years of experience as a Project Coordinator.
• Experience must be from a General Contractor or Construction Manager
• Strong inspection skills to ensure quality control
• Proficiency in logistics management to keep the project on track
• Proficient in Microsoft Project
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
• Experience working in Jonas a plus
• Experience in change management
• Experience in contract management (CCDC range and CCA1 subcontract)
• Experience in dispute management
• Excellent organizational skills to manage time and resources effectively
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong problem-solving skills to overcome obstacles and make informed decisions
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
• Gold Seal Certification in project management an asset
