Senior Construction Manager

6ixGroup is an integrated architecture, engineering, development, and construction firm delivering purpose-built rental, multiplex, and mid-rise projects across the GTA. Our construction division, 6ixBuild , is looking for a Senior Construction Manager to lead projects from pre-construction through occupancy.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on leadership position , understands both construction and development, and wants to work closely with in-house architects, engineers, and ownership.

• Lead multiple projects from pre-construction to completion
• Manage schedules, budgets, procurement, and site execution
• Oversee site teams, subcontractors, and consultants
• Drive constructability reviews, value engineering, and risk mitigation
• Ensure compliance with drawings, Ontario Building Code, and safety standards
• Coordinate inspections, deficiencies, and close-out
• Report directly to ownership and senior leadership

• 10+ years of construction management experience (GTA projects required)
• Strong background in residential, Commercial Plaza. multiplex, mid-rise, or mixed-use construction
• Deep understanding of construction sequencing, cost control, and site logistics
• Experience working in design-build or integrated teams
• Confident leader with strong communication and decision-making skills

Nice to Have

• Gold Seal or PMP
• CMHC / purpose-built rental experience
• Experience in Commercial Plaza
• Procore, MS Project, or similar platforms

• Work directly with in-house architecture, engineering, and development teams
