About the Role

Reporting directly to the Corporate Controller, the Manager, Corporate Finance will lead a team of three and manage full cycle accounting duties, including preparation of financial statements and internal reporting, as well as assisting with treasury, accounts payable, and tax compliance for the corporate entities. This role is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional to gain exposure to all aspects of the business and work with team members who are process improvement-driven and excel in their specialties.



Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of corporate finance responsibilities to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Oversee full-cycle corporate accounting, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting for operating companies, holding companies, and corporate entities.
  • Ensure adherence to reporting timelines and compliance with relevant accounting standards.
  • Adopt a hands-on approach to month-end workbooks, including balance sheet reconciliations, P&L analysis, and forecasting to support accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Prepare and review financial statements of corporate entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Support the Corporate Controller as the primary point of contact for external auditors, facilitating audit processes and ensuring the timely provision of required documentation.
  • Assist in coordinating with tax advisor and tax authorities, ensuring the smooth and timely completion of tax compliance.
  • Provide support in managing treasury operations, including cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, and management of bank accounts.
  • Lead and develop the corporate finance team, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture, encouraging continuous improvement and professional development.


Qualifications

The successful candidate will hold a University Degree in accounting, finance or related field, along with a CPA designation and a minimum of four years of experience in public accounting and/or industry. They will possess a strong understanding of accounting principles, with exposure to sales taxes and income taxes, and advanced Excel skills.
