Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced City Fish Sales Representative to grow and manage the Edmonton territory. This role is ideal for a relationship-driven sales professional with a strong background in Asian cuisine-focused restaurants, foodservice distribution, and hands-on knowledge of seafood, proteins, and produce. The successful candidate will be a visible City Fish ambassador in the market, comfortable

working in a fast-paced, fresh-food environment, and focused on building long-term customer partnerships through expertise, trust, and service.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and grow sales within the Edmonton territory, with a strong emphasis on Asian cuisine-focused restaurants, independent operators, and multi-unit accounts
  • Build and maintain long-term customer relationships through regular in-person visits, enu support, and consultative selling
  • Promote and sell a broad range of seafood, proteins, and produce, including fresh, frozen, and value-added items
  • Work closely with City Fish and Pratts procurement, operations, and customer service teams to ensure accurate ordering, timely delivery, and high customer satisfaction
  • Identify new business opportunities and convert prospects into long-term customers
  • Provide market insights, pricing feedback, and competitive intelligence to leadership
  • Support menu development, product launches, and seasonal promotions
  • Manage pricing, margin expectations, and promotional programs in line with company objectives
  • Resolve customer issues proactively and professionally



Qualifications and Experience

  • 3+ years of foodservice sales experience, preferably in seafood, proteins, or produce
  • Proven experience working with Asian cuisine-focused operators (Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese, Thai, etc.)
  • Strong product knowledge of seafood species, protein cuts, and produce varieties
  • Existing relationships within the Edmonton foodservice market considered a strong asset
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated with strong time management and territory planning abilities
  • Comfortable working with fresh products, fluctuating markets, and daily pricing
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, mobile ordering tools, and Microsoft Office
  • Valid driver’s licence and ability to travel within the territory
