Our purpose is to provide “safe, efficient & caring non-emergency patient transfer & supportive services to Health Authorities and other institutions.” At Hospital Transfers, our patient transfer services support patient flow for healthcare in the lower mainland and fraser valley.
This position offers Monday to Friday office hours, hands-on recruitment experience, and could lead to opportunities to support broader Human Resources tasks and projects.
This position plays a critical role in shaping the teams that serve our patients. This isn’t just recruitment — it’s helping people find meaningful work that makes a difference.
Primary Job Duties:
- Draft and post job ads across multiple platforms
- Screen candidates via phone, online interview, and in-person interviews
- Proactively source candidates through job boards, social media, and community outreach
- Coordinate interviews and provide timely, professional communication
- Support employer branding initiatives, job fairs, and hiring events
- Conduct reference checks and assist with offer preparation
- Help with onboarding tasks such as orientation scheduling and file setup
- Maintain accurate candidate records and assist with recruitment reporting, data entry
- General administrative duties such as scanning and filing documents, supporting the Human Resources department
Qualifications
- Two or more years of experience in a recruitment focused role , preferably in healthcare, transportation, or customer service industries.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
- Human Resources coursework, certificate, diploma, or knowledge of current employment legislation is a strong asset
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities
- Ability to pass a Criminal Record Check (children and vulnerable adults)
- Proof of the first and second dose of the Covid vaccination (per Company policy)
