Role Overview

We are seeking a Project Manager / Scrum Master to join our team in Toronto. This is a PM-leaning hybrid role (approximately 60% Project Management / 40% Scrum Master) designed for a hands-on professional who can drive projects end-to-end while applying Scrum and Agile practices where appropriate.

This is not a pure Scrum Master role. The successful candidate will be responsible for owning delivery, implementing governance, and working closely with internal stakeholders including Developers, Business Analysts, and the PMO. The role supports multiple initiatives, with several new projects launching in the coming year.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple concurrent projects (5–10 at a time) from initiation through delivery
• Apply Agile/Scrum methodologies while maintaining strong project management discipline
• Plan, track, and report on project scope, timelines, dependencies, risks, and deliverables
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies as needed (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives)
• Implement and maintain project governance, documentation, and reporting standards
• Partner closely with internal teams including Developers, Business Analysts, and the PMO
• Proactively identify issues, suggest process improvements, and drive continuous improvement
• Support delivery of finance-related initiatives, including treasury, accounting, and data projects

Required Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of experience in Project Management, with exposure to Scrum / Agile methodologies
• Strong organizational and delivery skills with a proven ability to manage complexity
• Experience working on finance-related projects, ideally within: Treasury, Accounting, Data initiatives
• Ability to balance structure with flexibility in fast-moving environments
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Comfortable working primarily with internal teams

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

• Experience with Kyriba (strong asset)
• Exposure to AI, automation, or emerging delivery tools
• Background in hybrid Agile/Waterfall delivery environments
