Summary

Highly skilled and experienced Senior Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our team in Toronto. This role is for a pivotal end-to-end SME who will be a key contributor across our products and integrated solutions, focusing on Payments, Liquidity, Virtual Accounts Management, and Core Banking . The candidate needs to have a strong background as a Business Analyst in the payments domain, with a proven ability to lead and deliver complex solutions.

Core Responsibilities:

12-15 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar SME role, with a strong focus on the payments, liquidity, and core banking domains within a bank or FinTech.

1. Lead the End-to-End Solution: Act as the primary SME for integrated solutions spanning payments, liquidity, virtual accounts, and core banking, from initial business requirements gathering through to final implementation and support.
2. Translate Business Needs: Understand and review complex business requirements to articulate detailed functional specifications, business scenarios, and process flows.
3. Stakeholder Management: Liaise directly with business users and stakeholders to ensure end-to-end delivery of the solution scope.
4. Testing and Quality Assurance: Lead the Business Analyst stream for the project, provide support during all phases of functional testing, participate in defect triage, conduct root-cause analysis, and resolve queries.
5. Training and Product Showcase: Showcase the integrated product solutions and provide comprehensive training to all project stakeholders.
6. Deliverable Review: Review design and testing deliverables to ensure all requirements are met and are of high quality.

Preferred Skills

Core Domain Expertise (Must Have):

• Payments: Proven experience in end-to-end processing of electronic payments (domestic and international) across various payment schemes. Preference for expertise in Canada or US .
• Liquidity & Cash Management: Strong working knowledge of liquidity management and cash concentration services.
• Virtual Accounts Management: Experience with the setup and management of virtual account structures and their reconciliation processes.
• Core Banking: Functional knowledge of core banking systems and their integration with payments, liquidity, and virtual accounts.
