About the Role:
We are currently seeking a seasoned Business Analyst with proven experience working within the Canadian federal government. The successful candidate must hold a valid Government of Canada security clearance and demonstrate strong knowledge of procedures and methods within the federal government.
Job Requirements:
- Develop and document statements of requirements for considered alternatives
- Perform business analyses of functional requirements to identify information, procedures, and decision flows
- Evaluate existing procedures and methods, identify and document items such as database content, structure, application subsystems
- Define and document interfaces of manual to automated operations within application subsystems, to external systems, and between new and existing systems
- Establish acceptance test criteria with client
- Support and use the selected departmental methodologies
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of business analysis experience, including 2+ years in a federal government setting.
- Valid Government of Canada security clearance (e.g., Reliability, Secret, or Top Secret).
- Strong understanding of federal government procedures, procurement, and governance.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.
