Senior Business Case Analyst – Technology Alignment

We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Case Analyst to lead the development of high-quality, evidence-based business cases supporting major technology infrastructure initiatives. The ideal candidate is a strong business writer, analytical thinker, and strategic partner who can collaborate effectively with senior executives, technical teams, finance, procurement, and multi-disciplinary project groups.

Key Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities

• Take ownership of assigned initiatives and drive them to successful completion.
• Provide clear, regular status reporting on risks, issues, dependencies, and milestones.
• Prepare and deliver high-quality decision-making materials for executive governance forums.
• Support planning and design activities that inform technology infrastructure business cases.
• Work closely with technical, architecture, and facility operations teams.
• Produce clear, concise documentation aligned with organizational standards.
• Assist project leaders with stakeholder engagement and business case presentations.

Specific Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive business cases and project charters for projects of varying sizes and complexity.
• Identify financial, technical, and evidence-based inputs required to build strong recommendations.
• Lead end-to-end drafting of business cases under tight deadlines.
• Guide teams on business case structure, content expectations, and quality requirements.
• Prepare materials and facilitate discussions for governance and steering committee meetings.
• Coordinate with vendor resources where needed for business case inputs.
• Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships while proactively identifying risks or delays.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear, accessible language for non-technical audiences.
• Support project managers in documenting cost changes and rationale during project execution.

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience as a Senior Business Analyst in large enterprise environments.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience writing business cases.
• Strong exposure to structured PMO environments .
• Proven track record working closely with senior leaders and executives .
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision .
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; highly detail-oriented.
• Demonstrated experience working collaboratively with finance and procurement teams on business case development.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and consultation facilitation capabilities.
• Ability to challenge expert input professionally and provide constructive feedback.
• Advanced proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Visio, and MS Project .
• Solid analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with Clinical Information Systems .
• Previous consulting or agency experience supporting large transformation initiatives.
