Participate in and adhere to health and safety programs and policies

Prepare reports for both operational sites as well as Head Office

Assist with the standardization and streamlining of systems and processes used to gather, analyze, interpret and report financial / statistical data

Prepare financial transactions in compliance with corporate policies and procedures

Assist with the accurate and timely completion of month end close reporting

Prepare account reconciliations

Assist with the provision of quarterly and annual financial, audit and tax reporting requirements, including disclosure information

Create and evaluate innovative ideas and technologies to help improve the way we do business

Requirements:

Working towards an Undergraduate degree in Finance or Accounting

A valid Class 5 Driver's License or extra-provincial equivalent, without learner's restrictions is preferred

Motivated self-starter, able to prioritize work under pressure and show great attention to detail

Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate complex ideas and concepts to multidisciplinary teams and external clients and contractors

Superior financial skills, providing overall support to the Financial Accounting or Accounts Payable departments

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Prior experience with Dynamics AX is an asset
