Join our dynamic team as an Inventory Clerk in Indianapolis, Indiana! We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to manage and maintain accurate inventory records. Your primary responsibilities will include tracking inventory levels, performing regular cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and ensuring the efficient flow of goods within the warehouse. This role is crucial to our operations, ensuring that our clients receive their orders accurately and on time. You will work closely with the warehouse management team to identify areas for improvement in inventory control processes.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular physical counts of inventory and reconcile with inventory system data.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records of received and shipped goods.
- Assist with the organization and arrangement of stock in the warehouse.
- Generate inventory reports as required.
- Ensure compliance with all warehouse safety procedures and protocols.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely, including forklifts and pallet jacks, after proper training.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures related to inventory management and logistics.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in inventory management or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of inventory control techniques.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in using inventory management software and basic computer skills.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, and Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Commitment to Safety and adherence to PPE requirements.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and Logistics is a plus.
