As a Senior Software Engineer (IT), you will become part of an expert team developing cutting-edge diagnostic solutions. You will contribute significantly to the development of both IVD and non-IVD products, influencing architectural decisions, driving innovation, and delivering high-quality software solutions across the complete development lifecycle.

AUFGABENBESCHREIBUNG:

• Take ownership of software development tasks, from concept to design, implementation, and release
• Define and enhance SW unit specifications, conduct feasibility studies, and contribute to system-level architecture
• Collaborate in cross-functional teams to meet strict quality and regulatory standards
• Perform root-cause analysis, provide post-market support, and propose improvements to existing solutions
• Ensure compliance with internal development processes and relevant regulatory standards

ERFORDERLICHES PROFIL:

• A university degree in Software or Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 2 years' experience in Rust software development, with strong understanding of its core principles
• Solid background in C++, Linux, and Linux Dockers
• Experience with asynchronous programming, event-driven architectures, and tools like RabbitMQ is a plus
• First exposure to regulated industries (e.g., medical devices)
• Fluency in English (German is an advantage)
• A proactive mindset, strong team spirit, and interest in hardware-focused software applications

Project Details:

• Start: 01.07.2025
• Duration: 12 months (extension possible)
• Location: Rotkreuz (50% remote)
• Workload: 80-100%
