Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process all outgoing shipments accurately and efficiently.
- Verify shipping orders against physical inventory to ensure accuracy.
- Generate shipping labels, bills of lading, and other necessary documentation.
- Coordinate with shipping carriers for pickup schedules and tracking information.
- Maintain organized records of all shipped items and associated paperwork.
- Ensure packages are properly packed and secured for transit, adhering to **safety** guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with other departments regarding shipping status and needs.
- Operate shipping software and warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Adhere to all company **safety** policies and wear required **PPE**.
- Assist with inventory checks and related **logistics** tasks as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework is a plus.
- Proven experience in a shipping, receiving, or warehouse administrative role.
- Proficiency with shipping software and common office applications.
- Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Ability to perform tasks involving occasional **lifting** of up to 30 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with **logistics** and supply chain operations.
- Commitment to adhering to all **safety** procedures and wearing **PPE** when required.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
