We are looking for a diligent Shipping Clerk to join our logistics team in St. Louis, Missouri. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring all outgoing shipments are processed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards. Your duties will include preparing shipping documents, coordinating with carriers, tracking shipments, and verifying shipment contents. A keen eye for detail and strong organizational skills are essential. You will also play a role in maintaining warehouse organization and assisting with inventory tasks as needed. Safety is paramount; adherence to all safety protocols and the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory. This role may involve some lifting of packages up to 30 lbs. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and be proficient with computer systems used in logistics and shipping. Responsibilities:
- Process and prepare all outgoing shipments.
- Generate shipping labels and documentation.
- Coordinate with shipping carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries.
- Track shipments and provide updates to relevant parties.
- Verify order accuracy before dispatch.
- Maintain shipping records and filing systems.
- Assist with receiving and inventory as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all shipping regulations and company policies.
- Follow all safety procedures, including proper PPE usage.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of warehouse logistics.
