Job Summary:
We have an opening for a Shipping & Receiving Associate in our Philadelphia, Pennsylvania location. This role is integral to the efficient operation of our logistics and supply chain functions. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of inbound and outbound freight, from initial receipt and inspection to final dispatch. Key duties include accurately documenting all incoming and outgoing shipments, coordinating with carriers, and maintaining organized staging areas. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess strong problem-solving skills, and be capable of working effectively in a dynamic warehouse environment. Safety is our utmost priority; therefore, strict adherence to all safety protocols and the proper use of PPE is required. Experience with warehouse management software and a good understanding of logistics are beneficial. Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the receiving of all incoming goods, checking for accuracy and damage.
  • Process outbound shipments, ensuring correct packaging, labeling, and documentation.
  • Operate various material handling equipment with proficiency and safety.
  • Update inventory levels in the WMS accurately and promptly.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external carriers to resolve logistical issues.
  • Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe workspace.
  • Follow all established safety rules and procedures, including the correct utilization of PPE.
  • Must be able to perform lifting up to 55 lbs regularly.
This position is essential for maintaining efficient logistics operations. Prior experience in a similar role is preferred. We are committed to a safe and productive workplace for all our associates.
