We have an immediate opening for a Picker/Packer in our Kansas City, Missouri logistics center. If you are detail-oriented, work well under pressure, and enjoy a fast-paced environment, this is the role for you! You will be responsible for accurately selecting items from our inventory, ensuring they match the customer orders, and then carefully packing them for shipment. Success in this role requires precision, efficiency, and a strong commitment to our safety standards. You will be a key player in our order fulfillment process, ensuring that our customers receive their orders correctly and on time. This position involves considerable physical activity, including frequent Lifting, standing for extended periods, and moving throughout the warehouse. We provide a safe and supportive work atmosphere, and all employees are required to use the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and follow all safety guidelines diligently. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products based on order tickets or RF scanner.
- Inspect items for damage and ensure correct quantities.
- Pack items using appropriate materials to ensure safe transit.
- Label packages accurately for shipment.
- Assist with maintaining inventory accuracy through proper picking procedures.
- Operate warehouse equipment as trained and required.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of PPE and safe Lifting techniques.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in order picking/packing or warehouse operations is preferred.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Capability for Lifting items up to 40 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced logistics environment.
