Über

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer & Architect (TypeScript) to architect, develop, and maintain our core internal applications. This role comes with a high level of ownership and direct impact on our public API, internal services, and operational tools. You will play a key role in stabilizing our systems, improving our API design, and shaping the architecture of our backend services as we evolve and scale. Your Mission Architect, design, and maintain backend services powering key Hex?Rays applications. Lead the ongoing improvement of our public API and internal tooling ecosystem. Stabilize, refactor, and optimize existing systems for performance, reliability, and clarity. Own backend projects from design to production deployment. Work closely with the team to deliver efficient, smart, business?aware solutions.

Node.js (TypeScript) Express PostgreSQL Kubernetes on AWS Vercel
Required Skills & Experience
Deep expertise in TypeScript and modern backend development Strong experience in API architecture & design Proven ability to own and drive backend services end-to-end Strong SQL fundamentals (PostgreSQL) Experience building scalable, reliable systems
Must?Have Modern Skills
Demonstrated experience with LLM?assisted coding Nice to Have
Kubernetes experience CI/CD and DevOps exposure Security, observability, and system design knowledge Optional: Frontend experience in TypeScript frameworks Experience with distributed systems or high?availability environments
Soft Skills
Excellent communication Strong business understanding and ability to propose smart solutions Proactive mindset and autonomy Team player who thrives in a small but high?impact expert group
