About the Role
At Commure, our engineering team is at the forefront of revolutionizing healthcare technology. We are looking for a talented Backend Engineer to craft user-friendly, responsive, and secure interfaces that operate reliably at scale and enhance the experience for both providers and patients. What Youll Do Design, implement, and maintain our backend architecture for scalable, AI-powered healthcare solutions. Be a part of a fast-paced team that celebrates large ambition and makes decisions quickly. Work across the entire technology stack, including Python, Go, FastAPI, Flask, and other frameworks. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and clinical experts to translate requirements into intuitive and efficient solutions. Work directly with customers to solve their issues daily.
What You Have
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent extensive experience. 2+ years of professional software development experience. Strong backend programming skills (Python and Go). General understanding of containers and cloud (Docker, Kubernetes). Experience in environments where you ship quickly, deploying daily. Excitement to work in a high-impact field with a builder attitude. Attention to detail around user experience and customer needs. Growth mindset and a motivation to grow.
