We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional massage therapy services, focusing on patient comfort, pain relief, and overall well-being. This role offers an opportunity to work in a professional environment dedicated to health, relaxation, and medical aesthetics. Candidates must hold an active massage therapy license and have a strong foundation in anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology. Experience in med spa settings and occupational health is highly desirable. The position emphasizes patient service excellence and personalized treatment plans to meet individual needs.
*Duties*
* Perform a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to alleviate pain and promote relaxation.
* Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and develop customized treatment plans.
* Educate patients on pain management strategies and post-treatment care to enhance recovery outcomes.
* Maintain detailed documentation of treatments, patient progress, and treatment plans in compliance with healthcare standards.
* Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for all clients by adhering to sanitation protocols and occupational health guidelines.
* Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient concerns, answering questions, and fostering a welcoming atmosphere.
* Stay updated on the latest techniques and industry standards through ongoing professional development.
*Experience*
* Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with current certification.
* Proven experience in patient service, with a focus on pain management and therapeutic massage modalities such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy.
* Knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy practices.
* Prior experience working in med spas or similar healthcare environments is preferred.
* Strong understanding of occupational health practices related to massage therapy settings.

Pay: $40.00 per hour
