We are looking for energetic and reliable Picker/Packers to join our bustling warehouse in Jacksonville, Florida! As a Picker/Packer, you will play a vital role in fulfilling customer orders efficiently and accurately. You will be responsible for selecting items from warehouse shelves based on order slips, accurately packing them for shipment, and preparing orders for dispatch. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from designated warehouse locations using order lists or scanners.
- Inspect picked items for accuracy and damage.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Label packages correctly for shipment.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Meet established productivity and quality standards.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines, including the use of PPE.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, picking, or packing role is advantageous.
- Ability to read and understand order instructions.
- Basic math skills for order verification.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to perform lifting of up to 40 lbs regularly.
- Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods.
- Willingness to follow safety protocols.
