We are looking for a diligent Receiving Clerk to join our team in Orlando, Florida. This role is crucial for managing the inflow of goods, ensuring all incoming shipments are accurately documented, inspected, and processed efficiently. You will be the first point of contact for inbound **logistics**, playing a key role in maintaining inventory accuracy and warehouse organization. Your commitment to **safety** and attention to detail will be paramount. We strive to create a secure and organized workspace. Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for damage or discrepancies.
- Verify quantities and item information against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Accurately record received goods into the inventory management system.
- Tag and label received items as required.
- Move received goods to designated storage areas using appropriate equipment.
- Maintain a clean and orderly receiving area, adhering to all **safety** regulations.
- Report any issues or discrepancies to the appropriate supervisor promptly.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified).
- Wear required **PPE** at all times and follow all **safety** protocols.
- Assist with **lifting** and moving of items as needed during the receiving process.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse receiving role is preferred.
- Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with inventory systems.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including **lifting** up to 50 lbs.
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Understanding of warehouse **safety** procedures and the correct use of **PPE**.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- A strong commitment to **safety** in all aspects of the job.
