Our expanding logistics center in Des Moines, Iowa, is hiring motivated Picker/Packers to join our dedicated team. As a Picker/Packer, your primary responsibility will be to accurately pick items for customer orders and prepare them for shipment. This involves reading order slips, locating products efficiently within the warehouse, verifying quantities, and carefully packing items to ensure they arrive at their destination in perfect condition. Exceptional attention to detail is crucial for minimizing errors and maintaining high levels of inventory accuracy. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and performing tasks that require standing for long periods and moderate lifting. Safety is paramount in all our operations, and you will be required to adhere to all safety protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). As a Picker/Packer, you play a critical role in our logistics chain, directly impacting customer satisfaction. You will work collaboratively with colleagues and supervisors to meet daily picking and packing goals.
