This role is fundamental to our warehouse operations, ensuring that products are accurately selected and securely prepared for shipment. You will be responsible for using order lists and scanning equipment to locate and gather items, then carefully packing them for delivery to our customers. Success in this position requires efficiency, accuracy, and a strong work ethic. You'll be part of a collaborative team focused on meeting daily shipping targets in a fast-paced environment. This job involves considerable physical exertion, including standing for long periods, walking, bending, and frequent lifting of products. - Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order tickets or scanner prompts.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Pack items securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate packaging materials.
- Label packages accurately and prepare them for shipping carriers.
- Maintain high levels of productivity and meet daily order fulfillment goals.
- Keep workstation and surrounding areas clean, organized, and free from hazards.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE .
- Participate in team efforts to achieve departmental objectives.
Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent lifting up to 50 lbs. Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift. Prior picking or packing experience is beneficial but not required. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Understanding of basic warehouse and logistics operations. Dedication to maintaining a safe working environment. Willingness to wear and use required PPE . High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
