Join our thriving team as a Fulfillment Associate in Chicago, Illinois! This role is central to our e-commerce operations, focusing on efficiently processing customer orders. You will be responsible for picking items from inventory, accurately packing them for shipment, and ensuring that orders are processed in a timely manner. This fast-paced position requires a strong commitment to accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to all safety protocols, including the correct use of PPE. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and capable of handling the physical demands of warehouse work, contributing significantly to our logistics success.
Responsibilities:
- Pick orders accurately and efficiently from warehouse stock.
- Verify picked items against order specifications.
- Pack items securely using appropriate materials for safe transit.
- Label packages for shipment and prepare them for dispatch.
- Conduct quality control checks on all outgoing orders.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Use scanning equipment to manage inventory and order status.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Participate in regular safety training to ensure a secure work environment.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed to support overall logistics operations.
- Handle products carefully to prevent damage.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, fulfillment, or picking/packing role is beneficial.
- Ability to read and interpret order pick lists and labels.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of safety regulations and the importance of PPE.
- Familiarity with basic logistics principles.
