We are seeking a motivated Picker/Packer to join our dynamic e-commerce fulfillment center in Las Vegas, Nevada. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking items for customer orders and expertly packing them for shipment. Your attention to detail and efficiency are crucial for ensuring customer satisfaction and the smooth operation of our logistics. This position involves working in a fast-paced environment where adhering to safety standards, including the correct use of PPE, is paramount. The ideal candidate is organized, energetic, and possesses the physical ability to handle the demands of the job.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order lists.
- Verify picked items against order details.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for dispatch.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure order accuracy and product condition.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station and contribute to overall warehouse tidiness.
- Operate scanning equipment to track inventory and order status.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Participate in regular safety training sessions to maintain a safe working environment.
- Support overall logistics operations as needed.
- Handle products with care to prevent damage during the picking and packing process.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand order forms and labels.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Commitment to workplace safety and proper use of PPE.
- Basic understanding of logistics and order fulfillment processes.
