We are hiring experienced Forklift Operators for our busy Las Vegas, Nevada logistics hub! This role is critical for maintaining the efficient flow of goods within our warehouse. You will be responsible for operating forklifts to move, stack, and organize inventory, ensuring accuracy and safety in all operations. The ideal candidate will possess a valid forklift certification, a strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures, and the ability to work effectively in a high-volume environment. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach truck, etc.) to transport materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and shipping docks.
- Stack and arrange inventory in designated areas, ensuring stability and accessibility.
- Conduct daily inspections of forklifts and report any mechanical issues or safety concerns.
- Assist with put-away, order picking, and other warehouse tasks as required.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures meticulously.
- Ensure correct and consistent use of all required PPE.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve operational goals.
- Adhere to all logistics and operational standards.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Current and valid forklift operator certification.
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics environment (2+ years preferred).
- Demonstrated knowledge of safe forklift operating practices and warehouse safety.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination, spatial awareness, and balance.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to safety is paramount; strict adherence to PPE usage is mandatory.
- Flexibility to work different shifts if necessary.
