Join our busy Salt Lake City, Utah facility as a Shipping & Receiving Associate. This multifaceted role involves managing both incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring that all goods are handled with care and accuracy. You will be a vital part of our logistics team, contributing to the smooth operation of our supply chain. The ideal candidate is a team player with a strong sense of responsibility and a keen eye for detail.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming freight.
- Verify shipments against purchase orders and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, including accurate labeling and documentation.
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move materials.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the WMS.
- Ensure all areas of the shipping and receiving docks are kept clean and organized.
- Adhere to all company safety protocols, including the use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely processing of orders.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or a general warehouse role.
- Experience operating forklifts or other material handling equipment is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with shipping carriers and documentation.
- Basic computer skills and WMS experience.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain operations.
