Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Inventory Control Specialist for our Virginia Beach, Virginia operations. This critical role is responsible for maintaining the accuracy, integrity, and organization of our warehouse inventory. You will perform detailed cycle counts, conduct variance investigations, manage inventory adjustments, and implement procedures to optimize stock levels and prevent loss. This position requires strong analytical abilities, exceptional organizational skills, and a keen attention to detail within our Logistics framework. Safety is a core value, and we provide all necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and ongoing Safety training. While some physical tasks may be involved, including moderate Lifting, the primary focus is on precise data management and control. Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough and accurate cycle counts of warehouse inventory.
  • Investigate and resolve all inventory discrepancies promptly.
  • Manage inventory adjustments and ensure data integrity in the WMS.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve inventory accuracy and reduce shrinkage.
  • Monitor stock levels and communicate reorder needs.
  • Ensure proper organization and storage of all inventory items.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and support operational decisions.
  • Collaborate with warehouse and operations teams to maintain efficient workflows.
  • Oversee the proper handling of damaged, returned, or obsolete goods.
  • Champion workplace Safety and enforce adherence to all regulations and PPE requirements.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in inventory control or a related warehouse role.
  • Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory software.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Knowledge of Safety regulations in a warehouse environment.
  • Understanding of Logistics and supply chain principles.
  • Ability to perform moderate Lifting when required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
