Exciting opportunity for a Picker/Packer in San Antonio, Texas! Join our dedicated logistics team and play a key role in fulfilling customer orders with speed and precision. Your primary responsibilities will include accurately retrieving items from our warehouse inventory and carefully packing them for safe transit. This role demands a sharp eye for detail, efficiency, and a strong understanding of warehouse operations. You will work with technology such as scanners to manage order picking and ensure accuracy. The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, coupled with a commitment to safety—including the mandatory use of PPE—is essential. Your work directly contributes to the seamless functioning of our logistics network. Key responsibilities include:
- Accurately picking items from designated warehouse locations using pick lists and scanners.
- Verifying picked items against order requirements.
- Packing products securely and appropriately for shipment.
- Labeling packages accurately for outgoing delivery.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Assisting with other warehouse tasks as needed to support logistics.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to meet operational targets.
- Ability to perform frequent lifting up to 35 lbs.
- Contributing to the overall efficiency of our logistics processes.
