Seeking a diligent Shipping & Receiving Associate for our Houston, Texas facility! This key position ensures the seamless flow of goods into and out of our warehouse. You will be responsible for accurately processing incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders, and preparing outgoing shipments for delivery. Your organizational skills and attention to detail are vital for maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting our overall logistics operations. Tasks include unloading trucks, scanning items, documenting shipments, and staging goods for transport. A commitment to safety is paramount, and you will be required to wear all designated PPE and follow strict safety protocols. This role requires physical activity, including lifting and moving packages. Key responsibilities include:
- Receiving, unpacking, and inspecting incoming shipments.
- Verifying shipment contents against invoices and purchase orders.
- Accurately documenting all incoming and outgoing freight.
- Loading and unloading trucks efficiently and safely.
- Preparing outgoing shipments, including labeling and staging.
- Maintaining an organized and clean shipping and receiving area.
- Operating material handling equipment such as pallet jacks.
- Communicating with carriers and internal teams regarding shipments.
- Ability to perform lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Ensuring compliance with all safety procedures and logistics guidelines.
