We are seeking a reliable and experienced Forklift Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team in St. Louis, Missouri. This role is critical to the efficient movement of goods within our facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to Safety, excellent forklift operation skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced logistics environment. You will be responsible for loading, unloading, and transporting materials, ensuring accuracy and minimizing damage. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and other powered industrial equipment to move, stack, and retrieve materials.
- Safely load and unload trucks and containers.
- Transport goods to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Inspect equipment before and after use, reporting any issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of material movements.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Organize and maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Follow all guidelines for Lifting and safe material handling.
- Participate in inventory counts as needed.
- Support the overall logistics operations of the warehouse.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification and demonstrated experience.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Proficiency with various types of forklifts.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Commitment to Safety and adherence to all relevant regulations.
- Ability to perform moderate Lifting, up to 50 pounds.
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
