Our St. Louis, Missouri location is seeking a highly organized and proactive Warehouse Coordinator to manage and oversee daily warehouse operations. This key role is central to ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of our entire logistics and supply chain. Responsibilities include supervising warehouse staff, managing inventory levels, coordinating incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with all safety regulations. You will be instrumental in optimizing warehouse layout and workflow to maximize productivity. A strong understanding of logistics principles, inventory management systems, and team leadership is essential. We are committed to maintaining a safe workplace, requiring all personnel to adhere to strict safety protocols and utilize appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This role requires the ability to perform moderate lifting and to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Experience in a supervisory capacity within a warehouse environment is strongly preferred. Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities and staff.
- Manage inventory control, including cycle counts and stock adjustments.
- Oversee the receiving, warehousing, and distribution of products.
- Ensure efficient order picking and fulfillment processes.
- Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and safety standards.
- Implement and enforce safety procedures, including proper lifting techniques and PPE usage.
- Liaise with other departments and external partners to ensure smooth logistics flow.
- Manage and maintain warehouse equipment and facilities.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in warehouse coordination or supervision.
- Strong knowledge of logistics, inventory management, and supply chain principles.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Ability to perform moderate lifting and other physical tasks.
- Commitment to workplace safety and experience with PPE.
- Proficiency in problem-solving and decision-making.
- High school diploma required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
